Prairie College of Applied Arts & Technology is pleased to announce the launch of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program.
Beginning in August 2007 students will have the opportunity to earn a provincially recognized EMT credential while at the same time integrate their faith with their studies. In a ceremony in Three Hills, Alberta today, Prairie signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). This enables NAIT's EMT program to be offered on Prairie's campus this fall. Prairie adds a full year of Biblical and theological studies to the program so that students earn the EMT certification from NAIT as well as an Associate of Arts in Religious Studies from Prairie, all in twelve months.
